         Corn Pakoras are delicious, crispy fritters that make for a perfect snack, especially during rainy days or as a delightful addition to any gathering.

         These pakoras are made using fresh corn kernels mixed with a seasoned batter and deep-fried to golden perfection. Beyond their tempting taste, they offer certain nutrients, albeit in a context where moderation is key due to the frying process.

Corn Pakora Recipe:

Ingredients:

- 1 cup fresh corn kernels

- 1 cup chickpea flour (besan)

- 1 small onion, finely chopped

- 1 green chili, finely chopped (adjust to taste)

- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder

- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

- Salt to taste

- Chopped cilantro (optional)

- Oil for deep frying

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Batter:

   - In a bowl, mix together chickpea flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, chopped onion, green chili, salt, and cilantro (if using). Add water gradually to make a thick batter.

2. Prepare the Corn:

   - Grind half of the fresh corn kernels into a coarse paste. Keep the other half of the kernels whole.

3. Combine and Fry:

   - Mix both the whole and ground corn kernels into the batter until well coated.

   - Heat oil in a deep pan. Once hot, carefully drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until they turn golden brown and crispy.

4. Drain and Serve:

  - Remove the fried pakoras onto a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

   - Serve hot with chutney or sauce of your choice.
